Kristy Thomas MA, RDN, LD, CDCES
Board Certified Dietitian & Diabetes Educator

Functional nutrition takes a whole‑person approach—looking beyond isolated symptoms to understand the patterns contributing to your health concerns. My approach blends evidence‑based nutrition guidelines with a holistic perspective, so recommendations are both research‑informed and personalized. This helps support symptom improvement, metabolic health, and long‑term wellness in a thoughtful, sustainable way.

A functional nutrition consultation may explore:

  • patterns behind ongoing symptoms

  • digestive health and inflammation

  • energy, mood, and metabolic function

  • long‑term wellness and prevention

About

Kristy Thomas MA, RDN, LD, CDCES

I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified diabetes care and education specialist with a passion for helping people understand their bodies, their symptoms, and the patterns shaping their health. My approach is grounded in evidence‑based nutrition and guided by a whole‑person perspective — because your health is more than a diagnosis or a set of numbers.

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals navigating diabetes, digestive disorders, weight concerns, and cardiometabolic conditions. What I’ve learned is that people don’t need perfection — they need clarity, compassion, and a plan that fits real life. My role is to help you make sense of your symptoms, identify what’s getting in the way, and build sustainable habits that support long‑term wellness.

I believe nutrition should feel empowering, not overwhelming. Whether we’re reviewing labs, exploring digestive patterns, or adjusting daily routines, my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in your next steps.

Outside of work, I’m a mom of two boys, a lover of early mornings, and someone who understands firsthand how challenging it can be to prioritize your health while juggling a full life. That’s why my approach is practical, realistic, and always tailored to the person in front of me.

If you’re ready to understand your health more deeply — and build habits that support how you want to feel — I’m here to help you get started.
